Sybase alarms fail with "No signature of method: static com.quest.nitro.service.security.util.SecUtils.md5hex()" error
Description

Sybase rules in the 5.9.7, 5.9.8, and 6.0.0 FMS versions fail with a message similar to the following error below. The same rules work in the 5.9.5 versions and below.

com.quest.nitro.service.sl.interfaces.scripting.ScriptingException: com.quest.nitro.service.sl.interfaces.scripting.ScriptAbortException: groovy.lang.MissingMethodException: No signature of method: static com.quest.nitro.service.security.util.SecUtils.md5hex() is applicable for argument types: (java.lang.String) values: [f21cf913f2c5a493993740be6739ea71:472187194:]
Cause

The checkObservationAlarms script references non-existent SecUtils.md5hex method
Resolution

WORKAROUND

Contact Support for a hotfix for this issue

This issue has been logged as FOG-2684 and has been fixed in the 6.1 and higher releases of Foglight.
