Unable to map to Oracle datasource. Oracle is not available in the datasource selection dropdown.
Description

Trying to map an Oracle db via Toad Intelligence Central (TIC) Admin Concole. Oracle is not offered as an option in the dropdown when trying to map a new datasource.
Cause

32-bit Oracle ODBC Driver is not installed on the server where the TIC service is installed.
Resolution

Toad Intelligence Central (TIC) connects to Oracle datasources using ODBC and this must be installed on the same server where the TIC service is installed.
Please refer to "Help | Installation and Startup | Install Toad Intelligence Central | Install ODBC Drivers" for further information.
NOTE:
If installing an Oracle Client, ensure you install a Full client and click on the “Administrator” radio button in the Installation Wizard of the Oracle Client? If you do not click on that, it will not install the ODBC drivers (and many other components). If you did not choose “Administrator”, run the Oracle Client installation again and ensure you click on the “Administrator” radio button and finish the installation.
