How may a customer test they can reach the r9.8 license server? (4310590)

Are you able to go to a DOS prompt and type,
   ping 184.106.60.185
?

Are you able to telnet to port 80?

The command at the DOS prompt is,
   telnet 184.106.60.185 80

A successful response would be a blank screen with a flashing cursor

*) If you can't find telnet on your PC:
Please,
1. Open control panel.
2. Then go into programs.
3. Then in programs and features, there should be a part that says ‘turn windows features on or off‘.
4. Click ‘turn windows features on or off ‘ then on the list that appears to simply check the box beside Telnet Client.
5. Then click ok.

Direct the customer to work with their helpdesk on the above and let us know how that goes.
