Models are suddenly locking in the mart but no one is using them. Why? (4310567)

My models are suddenly locking in the mart but no one is using them.  We have been restarting the mart server service as a workaround to unlock these models.  When I check the application.log file I see this error occurring multiple times:

java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (MODEL_MANAGER.XPKM9REPORTDATA) violated at Oracle.jdbc.driver.SQLStateMapping.newSQLException(SQLStateMapping.java:85)

Solution:  you most likely have the mart report caching turned on during the daytime hours and it is locking the models so it can cache the mart data for later reporting.  Please schedule that activity to instead occur during the nighttime when no one is accessing the mart.
