After upgrading the SQL Server instance from 2008 R2 SPX to 2014 all backups jobs have been failing with the following error:

The package execution failed. The step failed.
Verfiy that all the LiteSpeed components are properly installed. Verify that xpSLS.dll is in the Binn directory for MSSQL.
Once all is verified, re-create the Maintenance Plan.
