After a silent installation. On launching SQL Optimizer from within Toad, the message, "The SQL Tuning module is not installed on this machine. The tuning options will be disabled.", is displayed.
Silent install instructions only apply to the installation of Toad for Oracle. SQL Optimizer does not install silently with Toad.
WORKAROUND:
In Toad version 9.0 please go to Toad installation directory \Tuning Labs folder and run TOADSQLTuning.exe manually. There is no silent install option in this version.
In Toad version 9.5 please go to SOL33166 for instructions about silently installing SQL Optimizer separately.
STATUS:
This issue is fixed in Toad for Oracle 9.5. This version can be downloaded here.
