Error "'NoCount' is not a recognized option" when connecting to a SQL Server Parallel Data Warehouse
Description
On attempting to create a SQL Server group connection for a SQL Server PDW (Parallel Data Warehouse), the following error occurs:
"'NoCount' is not a recognized option"
Cause
SQL Server Native connection does not support SQL Server PDW
Resolution
There are no near-term plans to natively support SQL Server PDW. It may be possible to create a generic ODBC connection if an ODBC Driver is available, however this has not been tested and will not be directly supported.
