When clicking on "Test Settings" for the mail setttings, the below error may occur:
"Failed to send the test message.
The transport failed to connect to the server." -
Resolution
This error can occur if the server name cannot be resolved or the port cannot be accessed. Ensure that the name is correct and the port can be queried.
