When clicking on a domain (tab) in Alarm Templates using a message "Error Occur" is displayed and no rules are shown.
An error similar to the following may appear in the FMS log
A circular reference was found in one of the rules that was referencing another registry variable that did not exist.
WORKAROUND
Remove any references from registry variables that refer to other registry variables.
To find invalid references, search for a "Reference to registry variable"
or disable all of the rules associated to the domain (tab) such as Oracle, and then reenable the rules in groups until the problematic rule can be identified.
Then edit the rule
Change the Global Default from a reference to a Static Value
For example from this
To this
Then click Finish to save the changes
STATUS
Defect ID FOG-2551 was logged for this issue which was fixed in the 6.1 release of the Foglight database cartridges. This change applied to rules included with the Database cartridges. Custom rules may still have to be manually corrected after this product change according to the workaround above.
