Is it possible to recover a domain dontroller or a forest in the situation of a complete physical disaster (i.e. flood, fire, etc)?

Resolution
Recovery Manager for AD does not support the recovery scenario where all domain controllers in the forest are no longer available due to a hardware failure.
Recovery Manager for AD Forest Edition is designed to recover the forest due to a corruption in Active Directory or to the system state of the domain controllers, but can only restore to the same DCs that were backed up.
Recovery manager for AD Disaster Recovery Edition will allow you to restore the OS and AD state to a bare metal machine or blank VM, and is an add-on for Forest Edition introduced in version 10.0 and later.
