Getting information pop-up "Disallowed by Toad Security for user@dbname" when clicking on the 'Script' tab of a table, view etc.
CAUSE 1:
Toad Security has been implemented on the database and a restriction has been placed on 'Export DDL' for the logged on user.
CAUSE 2:
View | Toad Options | Windows | Export DDL - 'Available' box is unchecked.
RESOLUTION 1:
Contact your Toad Security administrator to request the restriction be removed.
WORKAROUND 2:
If Toad Security has not been implemented for the database (Confirm this by going to Database | Administer | Toad Security and message "Toad Security table does not exist" will display if not setup), go to:
View | Toad Options | Windows | 'Export DDL' - check the 'Available' box | Apply | OK
