Going to File menu | click on Open File, Toad locks up or hangs or freezes. Also, how to clear or remove the history or the last folder opened for the 'Open File' functionality?
The Open File window box opened in the other external monitor and it was turned off.
The history or the last folder opened is a network drive that is currently off-line, removed, or is no longer accessible.
You may have a dual monitor setup and the 'Open File' box opened on the other monitor. Re-connect or Turn On your external monitor and check if the 'Open File' box is in there.
To clear the history or the last folder opened for the 'Open File' functionality, follow the steps below:
