After upgrading from v8.6 to v9, a few reports could be executed from Database | Reports | Reports Manager. Toad was closed an reopened. Thereafter, there are no sample reports within Reports Manager. Under c:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\User Files\Reports folder, fast report definitions *.fr3 file exist and *.trd files exist in the Samples folder.
Import all definitions from the Sample directory:
1. Select Database | Report | Reports Manager menu option
2. Click "Import all definition files" icon (4th icon from left) from the toolbar
3. Navigate to the Samples folder located under c:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\User Files\Reports folder and select it
4. Select OK and if prompted to overwrite files, select '"Yes to all" option
