For TDM 5.4 and higher, ensure the Physical Model that needs to be converted is displayed and in focus, and then go to the Model menu | Convert Model | chose "Run" or "Simple Conversion" | select "Logical Model" from the drop-down box.
You can also select i.e. a higher version of the same database if you simply just want to upgrade your Model DB version from a lower version to a higher version i.e. DB2 10.5 to DB2 11.1.
Note: if a db platform is not showing in the TDM menus | please enable or add that database platform first by going to the ‘Settings’ menu | ‘Add/Remove Databases’ | check-mark the database platform you want | and then click OK.
For more info on converting models, please go to TDM’s Help menu | ‘Help Topics’ | go to the ‘Search’ Tab | type: convert | press enter | double-click on ‘Covert Model’.

For TDM 5.2 version, you can go to the File menu | Synchronization | "Simple Model Conversion" | select "Logical Model" from the drop-down box.
For older TDM versions i.e. 3.5, go to File menu | Sync & Convert | Simple Model Conversion | select Logical Model.
