Compare contents in the Team Coding Manager throws an Access Violation when dropped table is compared to one in Version Control Repository -
Description
When using the Compare contents in the Team Coding Manager Team Projects Pane, it will throw the following exception error if the object exists in Version Control System (VCS) repository, but not in the database:
"Access violation at address 0000000007D817A9 in module 'Toad.exe'."
A Team Project contains a particular table which is currently checked out.The table has since been dropped (outside of Toad) so effectively still exists in the VCS repository, but not in the database.From Team Projects tab of Team Coding Manager | right click on the checked out table 'Compare contents'.** Note that Toad doesn't mention at all that the table doesn't exist in dbClosing the 'Compare Contents' window results in the Access Violation error. -
Cause
Issue is related to the fact that there's a Schema Browser window also loaded. The Schema Browser is in Treeview mode but nothing has been expanded, so there's no Right Hand Side (RHS) pane in the Schema Browser. When the 'Compare contents' window is closed, Toad is trying to refresh the RHS pane of the Schema Browser (which doesn't actually exist), resulting in the Access Violation. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Use Dropdown or Tabbed View for the Schema Browser. If continuing to use Treeview, then expand the Treeview so that there is something populated in the RHS of the Schema Browser.

Issue fixed in version 12.10. The latest version can be downloaded here.
