When I Export or Save As my query data results to Excel File, I am unable or it does not show column name headers. How can I show column headers in the Excel File?
Toad for Oracle 10.6.1:
1) Run your query using F9 (Execute as Statement)
2) In the data grid results, click on the Export Dataset icon OR right-click the data grid | choose Export Dataset
3) Under Export Format: | choose Excel File
4) In the middle-right of the Export Data window | check mark “Include column headers”
5) Proceed to finishing the export
6) Check if your excel file now includes the column headers
Toad for Oracle 9.7.2:
1) Run your query using F9 (Execute as Statement)
2) In the data grid results area, right-click the data grid | choose “Save As”
3) In the “Save Grid Contents” window, under “Export Format:” drop-down box | choose “Excel File”
4) In the middle-right of the “Save Grid Contents” window | check mark “Include column headers”
5) Proceed to finishing the export
6) Check if the generated Excel file now includes the column headers
