The TDM user files are stored at the locations below:
A)
C:\Users\<YOUR_USER>\AppData\Roaming\Dell\Toad Data Modeler\Installation 1\
NOTE: the number “1” above can be any number i.e. 2, 5, 6, etc. Try to use the highest number as that should indicate the latest user files.
B)
C:\Users\<YOUR_USER>\Documents\Toad Data Modeler\
To migrate or transfer your TDM user settings files to a new PC, copy the above folders ("Installation 1" and "Toad Data Modeler") to the exact same location on the new PC. You may need to pre-create the folders if they do not exist yet.
NOTE: Also try to do the above on the same TDM version on the new PC, and then just upgrade it when the transfer is complete, if a new version is available.
