How to turn on the new 13.1 feature "Identify Invalid Synonyms"?
From the 13.1 Release Notes: "Identify Invalid Synonyms. The Schema Browser now provides an option that, when enabled, identifies an invalid Synonym. To clear the invalid synonym status, right-click the synonym and select Compile."

Resolution
To enable the feature, "Identify Invalid Synonyms", please click the Filter (Funnel) icon, and then look for the "Include Status" checkbox at the lower right. Please check mark this box to enable the aforementioned feature.
