When scheduling tasks through Job Management, the tasks do not run at the specified time.
Before scheduling the task and once the Automation tasks are created, first try the "Test" button in the bottom wizard bar of the Automation window, to ensure the automated task works correctly.
It's possible SMTP information needs to be entered, depending on the Automation task being scheduled. There may not be a prompt for this when the scheduled task runs, so ensure all details are entered prior to running the scheduled task.
Another reason for a task not running on time is if 'Tools | Options | Environment | General | Check for updates on startup' is checked. If a new update is available and this option is checked, then Toad will display a popup when the toad.exe is fired off.
Uncheck 'Tools | Options | Environment | General | Check for updates on startup' to avoid this.
