"Error 0xe30000001. License violation." (4307896)

After synchronization in QMM for AD all user objects report failed with an "Error 0xe30000001 license violation".

DSA agent may have been manually removed using ADD/REMOVE programs directly from the computer it was installed on. Change Request 61833 was created and this issue will be reviewed in the future product releases.

The domain pair that is missing a valid DSA agent mapping within ADAM requires being re-mapped to another working DSA instance.

To re-point the domain pair to a functioning DSA instance please take the following steps:

1. Backup the ADAM instance by following the steps outlined here : https://support.quest.com/SUPPORT/index?page=solution&id=SOL9901
2. Using "ADAM ADSI Edit", access the project database.
3. Descend into "CN=Projects".
4. Identify the correct domain pair failing by checking the attribute "aelita-Amm-Name" For example, "aelita_Amm-Name Unicode String Source To Target" where "Source to Target" is the domain pair name.
5. Once the correct domain pair has been identified descend into and identify the synchronization portion thru the same method. For example, locate attribute "aelita-Amm-NameUnicode String Synchronization".
6. At this level the DSA mapping attribute is "aelita-Amm-AgentRef" and requires the value replaced with a working DSA mapping from another domain pair that is functioning correctly.
7. Cut and paste the new value from any other working domain pair to replace the failing instance.
8. Lastly, set the Agent status attribute to "0" at this same level, "Synchronization". For instance, "aelita-Amm-CurrentStat Integer 0".
