Trying to run a cross-connection query between ISeries and Excel results in the following error:
"Can't address object objectname from cross query engine"
The query produced by Query Builder will run in the Editor, but not directly from the Query Builder itself.
On the server tab of the ODBC configuration window for the iSeries ODBC driver, there’s a drop down for “Naming convention:”
Select 'SQL' instead of 'Sys'
