Perform a reset or clear the Toad Data Point user files.
1) Fully exit Toad Data Point (TDP).
2) Go to:
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR_USER>\Application Data\Quest Software (or Dell)\
Vista or 7: C:\Users\<YOUR_USER>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software (or Dell)\
3) Rename the “Toad Data Point 3.x” folder to “Toad Data Point 3.6 OLD” (where x is the version number i.e. 3.7).
4) Start TDP.
5) If asked if you want to ‘Migrate’ settings from previous versions, choose CANCEL or NO.
6) Re-test the issue.
NOTE: Try not to transfer back the Connections.XML file as per one user, the issue returned back when that file was reused. If you have other Connections.XML files or if you have done an Export of your Connections from another PC, try using those files instead.
