Description
A user has added a filter to the DB2 error log or Oracle Alert log ignore list in the agent but the alarms are still fired for the errors added in the ignore list. -
Cause
The ignore list entry included special characters -
Resolution
Include a slash as an escape for special characters.
The regex expression in the filter list should be the following:
.ZRC=0x80100469=-2146433943=SQLP_HDRS_READ_ONLY \"The operation that attempted to modify the contents of the database failed\".
Not.ZRC=0x80100469=-2146433943=SQLP_HDRS_READ_ONLY "The operation that attempted to modify the contents of the database failed".For further confirmation the regex can be tested here: https://regex101.com/
