Toad prompts "You have uncommitted changes on connection connection name Do you want to commit them?" when only a select statement is being executed
Description

When closing Editor window or Toad, it prompts "You have uncommitted changes on connection connection name Do you want to commit them?" when only a select statement is being executed. Autocommit is set to off
Cause

Defect only occurs when Autocommit is OFF
Resolution

WORKAROUND
Set Autocommit to ON at the bottom left of Editor (Note that this will commit any insert/update statements automatically)
