What versions of SQL are supported in Change Auditor v7.4?
Description

Would like to know the recommendation for SQL. Can everything be installed on the same server with SQL Express or should this be put on a full version of SQL?
Resolution
SQL Express is not supported with Changed Auditor.

The following versions are supported in the current version of Change Auditor.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2014 SP3
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 SP2
- Microsoft SQL Server 2017
- Microsoft SQL Server 2019
- Microsoft SQL Server 2022
- Azure SQL Managed Instance (PaaS) with SQL authentication or Azure Active Directory authentication
NOTE: Performance may vary depending on network configuration, topology, and Azure SQL Managed Instance configuration.
NOTE: Change Auditor supports SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups, SQL Clusters, and databases that have row and page compression applied.
NOTE: Amazon RDS SQL is not supported at this time
