In the Desktop Authority Console navigate to Client Configuration | Profiles | User | and select the preferred profile. Select the Group Policy Templates object and click "Add" to create a new element. Click the "Add/Remove ADM files" and highlight the SYSTEM.ADM.
Next, select the Settings tab. Expand Classic Administrative Templates | Desktop | Active Desktop and select “Active Desktop Wallpaper". Set the Policy state to enabled and enter the path of the desired wallpaper in the "Wallpaper name" dialogue box. The option to set the wallpaper style is also available and is set to "Center" by default.
Once the Classic Administrative Template is setup the Administrative template will need to be configured. Within the same element Click the "Add/Remove ADMX files" and highlight the DESKTOP.ADMX.
Next, select the Settings tab. Expand Administrative Templates | Desktop | Desktop and select “Active Desktop Wallpaper". Set the Policy state to enabled and enter the path of the desired wallpaper in the "Wallpaper name" dialogue box. The option to set the wallpaper style is also available and is set to "Center" by default. Once the Templates have been configured add the validation logic rules for the new GPO template element, then Save and Replicate.
