In older versions of Toad the Export | Source Code functionality is located in the Database menu. In Toad for Oracle v9.5 and afterthis functionality is no longer available in the Database menu.
This feature has been altered a little bit and now has a new name in the menu. It is still under Database | Export, but is now called Export DLL.
SOLUTION 1:
1) Select Database | Export | Export DLL
2)Click Add to add the objects that you want the DDLs for.
3) This takes you to the Object Search window, where you can getas general or specific to what objects you want. Fill out the criteria you want andclick the Search for Database Objects button (green arrow in the top left corner). It will display all the results returned by the query.
4)Highlight all of the objects you want DDLs for. You can select all of them by right-clicking andchoosing Select All from the menu, then hit OK. This will populate the Objects & Output tab with the objects you want DDLs for.
5)Fill out the options you want in the Script Options tab and Output section and click the Export Objects DDL button.
SOLUTION 2:
1) In the Schema Browser, select the page of the objects you want to export source code. These can include procedures, functions, triggers, and so on.
2) In the left hand side, select the objects you want to export. (You can export more then one tables by holding down on the Ctrl key)
3) Right-click and select Create Script.
4) The Export DDL dialog appears with the basic options set and the objects selected. Make any changes you desire.
5) Click OK.
