Description

When attempting to select Database | Monitor | ADDM/AWR, the following error message occurs: "The application has encountered a problem... Data Type is not supported"
Cause

This is a 10g utility and the Oracle client being used does not support a particular datatype
Resolution

SOLUTION

Upgrade Oracle client to match the database version.
