Description
After upgrading Messagestats then trying to launch the Messagestats console the following error occurs:
"A problem occurred connecting to the SQL Database. This error may be related to SQL permissions. Please reconfigured your database connection.
Error Details: "tblConfiguration: Filed 'LicenceFile' not found"" -
Resolution
CAUSE
This error can occur if there is a distributed install of Messagestats (components reside on separate servers) and the Database component was not upgraded.
When performing an upgrade, each component of the product must be upgraded and the upgrade must take place on the same drive where that component was originally installed.
WORKAROUND
Upgrade the Database Component of Messagestats.
The Messagestats Quick Start Guide clearly outlines how to perform a custom installation of Messagestats on pages 28 - 33 and these steps also apply to upgrading the product.
