Does MessageStats service account need to be a member of the local admin group on the SQL Server?

The only time that an account needs to be part of the Local Administrator's group is during installation as a collection of local groups are being created. After that, the service account needs only be part of the MessageStats Admin local group as this group is used to allow accounts to access the MessageStats database.
