File server name length has 10 characters limitation
Description
Cannot define file servers with names longer than 10 characters. We have a server name which is 11 characters long and cannot add it in STAT.
Is there a way to enter server names with more than 10 characters?
Cause
The table STAT_FILE_SERVER and the SRV_CD column is varchar2(10).
Resolution
Solution:
1. According with development, the server name is an internal identifier for the server in Stat. The Description field can be used for actual Server Name.
