The following error message is recorded to the SMWinService_errors.log file following a general Business Logic Error in the Desktop Authority Management Console:
“ADM/ADMX parsing error: ScriptLogic.DAConsole.Common.ExceptionHandling.DAMessageException: ErrAdmFileFormat?header of [strings] section not found in ACCESS12.adm file.”
This error has been reported as a known defect in Desktop Authority version 9.2.
Workaround:
Contact Support to obtain an updated Desktop Authority Manager Service (SMWinService.exe version 9.2.0.1241 or greater). Make reference to defect number DE10861.
Status:
Expected to be fixed in a future release.
