Sybase agents stop automatically -
Description
We have multiple hosts that went offline on its own. When monitoring the agent manager, individual Sybase_MDA processes began to use a sigificant amount of memory on the Agent Manager, after this time the FglAM process used up all of the available memory on the Agent Manager causing the agents to shut down. -
Cause
The rapsinstall2.sql was not executed as Foglight user -
Resolution
The required stored procedures must be installed manually by an account with appropriate privileges before the Sybase_MDA Agent can start monitoring the Sybase Adaptive Server. This can either be the Sybase sa account, or another account that has the appropriate permissions, configured using the rapsinstall2.sql script.
