This video describes how to run the 'Trace Read' command, interpret the output and an analysis on the trace statistics with suggestions for better Read performance. -
Resolution
'Trace Read' command is introduced in SharePlex version 8. To investigate the slow read issue, start trace read and it runs 15 mins by default unless it is run for a specific period.
Command to run trace command is
sp_ctrl> Trace Read [minutes]
It generates the trace log in the vardir/log directory.
Based on the output, tune the Read process. For more suggestions on tuning the Read process, refer to the KB Article 121485.
