Error during upgrade from version 1.0 to 2.0: "Could not create groups"

The below error may occur during the upgrade of Enterprise Reporter from version 1.0 to version 2.0:

"An error occurred during the database upgrade. (DbLibrary)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Could not create groups: Reporter_Discovery_Admins, Reporter_Reporting_Admins, Reporter_Reporting_Operators, Reporter_Exploring_Operators. (DbLibrary)

Unable to create windows group "Reporter_Discovery_Admins" on target machine: SERVERNAME.  See inner exception for more details (DbLibrary)

Access is denied.
 (Active Directory)"

The installer is attempting to create the groups or find the existing groups in the Users container in AD. This issue can also occur if the account running the install does not have access to create groups in AD.

WORKAROUND #1:

Version 2.0 does not support the groups being created or used in a container or OU other than the Users container. If the groups in 1.0 was in another OU, move them to the Users container. Defect ID TF317186 has been submitted and will be reviewied for a future release of the product.

WORKAROUND #2:

Grant the account running the installation access to create groups in Active Directory or log in with an account that does.
