Does the database cartridge support Foglight Federation?

What are the support limitation that apply when using the database cartridge in Federation environment?

When running Foglight database cartridges in a Federation architecture, the following internal limitations of this architecture should be taken into account:

If upgrading to the current version of a database cartridge, the upgrade should be applied first to the federated database servers and then to the Federation Server. If the Federation Server is upgraded first, this server will display incorrect information regarding the number of instances being monitored, as reported under the Status Summary section. All the same, this information will be displayed correctly on the federated databases.

• The tasks listed below cannot be accomplished from the central Foglight Management Server (the Federation Server):
1. Creating agents
2. Administering agents
• The following features are not supported from the Federation Server:
1. Using the Support dashboards

Federation is supported by the database cartridge, but it has limitations as described above. Please follow the recent Release Notes for Foglight for SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2 for any Federation related issues.
