NM: Room Resource “blocker” document migrate as calendar item (4300814)

Issue 

In the Domino Rooms and Resource database one can enable the feature to limit advanced reservations, preventing people for booking rooms for extremely long periods of time. The setting is unique to each resource document.   The import agent in the RnR database creates a 'blocker' document for future dates with an end date of 12/31/1999.  These blocker docs were migrated as calendar entries and it adds the chair of the last person who updated the Resource document,  causing an issue in the Exchange environment in the future.  In Domino they are set to go to the year 9999.  In Exchange it is 2693. 

Solution 

Attached are the two agents commonly used in Notes Migrator to import or repopulate the data to be migrated. Also included are the updated agents.   It simply changes the search formula to exclude those documents that include the $CSBlocker field from being returned.

To replace the agents:

1. Open the Lotus Notes, Notes Migrator (CMT for Exchange) database in Notes designer.

2. Open the navigation pane on the left to "Code" and then "Agents" view.

3. Locate the "(Import Select RoomsResources Complete)" and the "(Repopulate Selected DBs)" agents.

4. Right click each agent and choose rename and place the word "orgcopy" in front of each agent so their names are now
"(Orgcopy Import Select RoomsResources Complete)" and the "(Orgcopy Repopulate Selected DBs)" so we have original copies of the both agents.

5. Open the attached database "R&R Blocker.nsf" in Notes Designer.

6. Again go to Code/Agents view. There will be only two agents in the database.

7. Copy both agents to the clipboard, and go back to the CMT for Exchange database and paste both agents into the Agents view.

8  Close Notes Designer.

9. Import the rooms and resources again, after removing these database from the server, and deleting the person documents from NM (CMTe).
