How to get server info in Windows environment of  Shareplex for licensing purpose? (4299806)

At times it may be required to provide the server information to Licensing Department in Quest for the purpose of obtaining the permanent key for Shareplex for Windows environment. This is especially true when things like # of CPU, etc., change which are used to derive at the value of permanent key.

General information.

Invoke the Shareplex Utilities, then hit the tab "License Key", select the port # and then gather the license information and save it as a text document, to be sent later to Licensing for getting the permanent key. The license information includes hostname, host id, # of CPU, Operating System and version, among others.

The equivalent utility in Unix environment is splex_uname and is documented in Shareplex Installation and Demonstration Guide.
