Issue
An issue has been reported by some customers using BTFreebusy where Domino users attempt to access BTFreebusy information for migrated O365 users.
The error message received and written to the logs is: BTFreeBusy client: Server was unable to process request. --- Call failed to the Exchange Web Services for - GetUserAvailability() --- SOAP header Action was not understood.
SOAP header action not understood" is the error when a SOAP 1.1 message is processed by a service set up with SOAP 1.2 bindings (WsHttpBinding).
BTFreebusy always uses SOAP 1.1, and it appears that sometimes the EWS in O365 decides SOAP 1.2 is required.
Solution
If you are experiencing this issue it is recommended that a Premier Support case is opened with Microsoft referencing Binary Tree reference number : REG:218102419266133001
Once customer has received a Premier case number from Microsoft Premier Support, an email should be sent to Support@BinaryTree.com which includes the Microsoft Premier case number for the customer.
