Additional notes/reminders before download and/or upgrade: erwin Data Modeler SE/WE/NE Proxy Server Patch (released July 6th, 2018) is built in erwin DM 2018R1/2019 R1. If you are using a proxy server, you do not need to apply this patch as you did for 9.8. ODBC SQL Query Tool is not available in erwin DM 2018R1/2019 R1 MITI Bridge support has been discontinued for erwin Data Modeler 2019 R1 onward. If you do not have active maintenance erwin DM 2019 R1 will not run. Do not download and do not install erwin DM 2019 R1 as it will overwrite your current version of erwin DM 2018R1/9.8, but will notify you at launch time that your maintenance is expired and will not run. To recover you will need to de-install 2019 R1 and reinstall 2018 R1/9.8. If you are not sure whether your maintenance is current, go to Help, Licensing, and review your Maintenance Date. If you believe you have maintenance but do not see a date later than April 1st, 2019, please contact your salesperson or reseller to resolve this discrepancy. License Deactivation and Reactivation One of the features of online licensing is the ability to return or deactivate a license from an old PC or someone who will no longer be using erwin DM and then reuse or activate that license on a new PC. There is a limit of five times to deactivate and reactivate. |
