Question:
I am trying to download erwin Safyr Option for ERP/CRM, but cannot find on erwin.com under Products & Services. Where and how can I download the erwin Safyr Option?
Answer:
To download the erwin Safyr Option, please click on the following link: erwin Safyr Option. Installing Safyr Most of the steps for installing the Safyr software for evaluation purposes are the same as for using the fully functional version of the product. The installation will involve:
The first step is to run the Setup program contained within the downloaded zip file. After installation, a ‘Getting Started Guide’ is available (in Adobe Acrobat format) from the Safyr program group. Using this manual, carry out the steps in Chapter 2 – Installation, up to and including the section on Repository Maintenance. Note that you do not need to complete steps 4 and 5 of the Repository Wizard which deal with connection to an actual ERP system. The population of the repository normally occurs when you perform an extraction from your SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Siebel or Salesforce system. For the evaluation version of Safyr, this step is replaced by the use of the repository import file which provides a representative set of metadata. To load the repository import, open the Repository Manager, and click the red down arrow button. Now use the file selection form to navigate to where the supplied ZIP file containing the sample metadata resides. |
