Description
Launch Toad for Oracle 11.x gave the error below:
Access violation at address 000000018000C3A4 in module 'sdb4mdu.dll' or 'ric564u.dll' Read of address 0000000000000002.
In Toad 12, Toad launches and immediately closes with no error.

Cause
Invalid or off-line printer in the Windows Printers and Devices window. Toad errors out when it tries to check the Printer drivers installed in your PC. -
Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
Trying switching the default printer to another online printer.
RESOLUTION 2:
Please go to the Start menu | “Devices and Printers” | and remove or delete any Printer that is no longer valid or off-line
NOTE: Ensure you can re-install it again in the future if the need arises.
