How to start and stop the Execution Trace feature and where is the Execution Trace Log File stored?
To start and stop the Execution Trace feature, go to the Tools | Execution Trace and check (start) or uncheck (stop) the “To Output” or “To File” options.
If selecting a log file, the file is stored by default in:
Windows 2003 and XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for database version\ConnectionTrace.log
Windows Vista and 7:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for database version\ConnectionTrace.log
The log file can also be viewed in the Editor by selecting Tools | Execution Trace | Show Logfile.
