After importing a GPO the WMI filter gets removed from the target GPO but the WMI Filter is still listed in the report
Description

Importing a GPO that does not have a WMI filter into a target GPO that has a WMI filter causes the target GPO to lose its WMI filter. However, the report on the latest backup still shows that the WMI filter exists.
Cause

By default importing a GPO that does not have a WMI filter into a target GPO that has a WMI filter causes the filter to be removed. This behavior can be changed. However, the fact that the report still shows the WMI filter is a defect.
Resolution
To change the behavior of the import so that the target GPO maintains its own WMI filter, follow the below steps:
1. Open regedit and navigate to HKLM\Software\Quest\GPOADmin
2. Create a string with "OverwriteWMIFilterOnImport" as the name and "False" as the value (no quotes)
3. Restart the GPOADmin services
For the issue where the WMI filter gets removed but still exist in reports, this has been logged as defect ID VSTS018754. This will be reviewed for a future release by the product team.
