Failure When Using a GPO to Install KACE Agent -
Description
After creating a GPO and distribution share to install the SMA agent, the agent fails to install. While viewing the Component Status from within the GPO you see the following error message:
Access is denied.
Additional information may have been logged. Review the Policy Events tab in the console or the application event log for events.
When viewing the Windows System Event log, search on KACE.
The following errors may be found.
EVENT ID 103
EVENT ID 101

Cause
The client computer does not have permission to access the share. Please review the following Microsoft Technet Articles for clarification.

Resolution
Configure the share to allow access to all domain computers and all domain users. After configuring share permission, on client machine either restart or run gpudate /force from commmand prompt. Evaluate to ensure the SMA is now installing.
