When attempting to connect to a workstation with Remote Support Center or Expert Assist, the message "Java is not installed or it is disabled in your browser." is displayed when Java is already installed.
This seems to occur with Java 7 update 17 installed. The plug-in option for Java may not be supported with the current version of Expert Assist.
Click on the Start menu and select Control Panel. Open the Java applet and select the Advanced tab. Uncheck the option "Enable the next-generation Java Plug-in" on the workstation being used to remote control.
