Error: "Unable to connect to remote host" while trying to configure a new Hardware Appliance. -
Description
Newly shipped Hardware used for KACE appliances - after setting up the network configurations and rebooting are unable to login in to the KACE Appliance konsole using the default login and password and keep getting alerts that says:"Alert! Unable to connect to remote host".Tried to login as netdiag, did the reset to factory but when login again as konfig still experienced the same issue. -
Cause
Incorrect network port was used. -
Resolution
Plug the network cable to the most far right available network port near the Power Supply Cable, which has the Number # 2 engraved on the Metal Plate and located right on top of the Service Tag sticker.
After plugging into the correct network port, reboot the Appliance by using netdiag.
