When installing Spotlight on AD and Spotlight on Exchange on the same machine there have been issues with the diagnostic console not displaying data in the Live Connections tab.
When opening the Diagnostic Console from the Topology Viewer, Spotlight on Windows opens but looks to hang when connecting to the target.
Incompatability of Spotlight versions
If installing Spotlight on AD and Spotight on Exchange onto the same machine, install Spotlight on Exchange first, then install Spotlight on AD.
Test that all links to Spotlight on Windows work, and connections to diagnostic console from topology work as expected.
