Critical error: Unable to establish a connection with the server. Could not connect to net.tcp://servername:15600/Afs.
Description

Critical error: Unable to establish a connection with the server. Could not connect to net.tcp://ServerName:15600/ Afs from an Active Administrator 7.0 console running on a Windows 7 or 8 workstation.
Cause

Active Administrator Server is not allowing a TCP/IP inbound rule for port 15600.
Resolution

Open up the Windows Firewall on the Active Administrator server.

Click on Advanced Settings | Inbound rules.

Create a new rule.

Select Port | TCP | Specific local ports: and type in 15600, as shown below:

Click "Next".

Select "Allow the connection". Click "Next".

Select Domain". Click "Next".

Type in Name "Active Administrator Foundation Service". Click "Finish".
