To disable the execution of Desktop Authority on logoff (for user profiles) or shutdown (for computer profiles) events:
In Desktop Authority 8.x
In the Desktop Authority 8.x Manager console, go to Global Options | Common Management Options | Exceptions
Place a checkmark on “Do not perform User Management actions at logoff” OR
Place a checkmark on “Do not perform Computer Management actions at shutdown”

In Desktop Authority 9.x (Prior to 9.2)
In the Desktop Authority 9.x Manager console, go to Client Configuration | Global Options | Common Management Options | Exceptions
Place a checkmark on “Do not perform User Management actions at logoff” OR
Place a checkmark on “Do not perform Computer Management actions at shutdown”

In Desktop Authority 9.2, 9.3 and 10.x
In the Desktop Authority 10.x Manager console, go to Client Configuration | Global Options | Common Management Options | Edit
Place a checkmark on “Do not perform User Management actions at logoff” OR
Place a checkmark on “Do not perform Computer Management actions at shutdown”

NOTE: When using either of these options, no Logoff or Shutdown events will function for any element (either logoff or shutdown timing events) regardless of validation logic applied. Logon (for user) and Startup (for computer) profiles and elements will still validate and apply successfully.
